The President’s Welcome event is the first large event on our social calendar, organised by the Social Secretaries and hosted in one of York’s local bars in October. This event is an amazing opportunity for the wider society to meet the committee in an informal and relaxed environment.
The President will conduct a speech and highlight the agenda for the upcoming year. This event allows the society to have a greater awareness of the year ahead and aims to encourage members to attend all the other amazing events that will be hosted in 2023/24.
The event is open to all students across the university, and our selected venue will cater to all accessibility and dietary requirements.
We look forward to hosting this year’s President’s Welcome and are thrilled to meet new Law Society members as well as welcome back our continuing members. We hope to see you all there!
